Community Guidelines

Soulbase is a space for spiritual growth, personal exploration, and supportive community. These Community Guidelines help ensure that everyone can participate in a safe and respectful environment. By using our community features, you agree to follow these guidelines.
1. Our Core Values

2. Expected Behavior
We expect all community members to:

- ✓Use content warnings when discussing potentially triggering topics

- ✓Report violations rather than engaging in conflict
3. Prohibited Content and Behavior
The following are not permitted in our community:
Harassment and Bullying
Personal attacks, intimidation, stalking, or any behavior intended to harm, threaten, or demean another person.
Hate Speech and Discrimination
Content that promotes hatred or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
Harmful Content
Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, dangerous challenges, or other harmful behaviors. If you or someone you know is struggling, please seek professional help.
Sexual Content
Sexually explicit content, including images, videos, or detailed sexual descriptions. Nudity is not permitted.
Illegal Activity
Content that promotes or facilitates illegal activities, including drug use, fraud, or violence.
Spam and Self-Promotion
Unsolicited advertising, excessive self-promotion, affiliate links, or repetitive content. Limited self-promotion may be permitted in designated areas.
Misinformation
False claims presented as fact, particularly regarding health, safety, or current events. Spiritual and metaphysical discussions are welcome, but dangerous medical misinformation is not.
Impersonation
Pretending to be another person, public figure, or organization in a misleading manner.
Copyright Infringement
Sharing copyrighted content without permission, including images, music, text, or other creative works.
Predatory Behavior
Attempting to exploit, manipulate, or take advantage of vulnerable community members, including through false spiritual claims or coercive practices.
4. Special Considerations for Spiritual Content
Given the nature of our platform:
- ✦Respect all spiritual paths and belief systems—no path is superior to another
- ✦Present personal experiences and beliefs as such, not as universal truths
- ✦Do not claim to provide medical, psychological, or professional advice
- ✦Be honest about your qualifications when offering guidance
- ✦Remember that divination readings are for entertainment and reflection, not predictions of fact
- ✦Be gentle when discussing sensitive spiritual experiences, as they can be deeply personal
5. Mental Health and Wellbeing
Our community is not a substitute for professional mental health support. If you encounter someone who appears to be in crisis, encourage them to seek professional help and report the situation to our moderation team. Do not attempt to provide crisis intervention unless you are qualified to do so.

6. Reporting Violations
If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it using the reporting feature or by contacting us at support@soulbase.io.
Important: Do not engage in public disputes or "call-outs." We will review all reports and take appropriate action.
7. Enforcement
Violations may result in:

8. Appeals
If you believe a moderation action was taken in error, you may appeal by contacting support@soulbase.io with a detailed explanation. We will review appeals and respond within a reasonable timeframe.
