Terms of Service

1Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Soulbase (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on the Service. Your continued use after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service. If you are between the ages of 16 and 18 (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction), you may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.

3Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your account.

4Description of Service

Soulbase is a spirituality and personal growth platform that provides tools and features including, but not limited to:

• Journaling (including dream journaling)
• AI-powered spiritual guidance (shared across all AI features)
• Community features (posts, feeds, and chats)
• Sound frequency tools (binaural beats, harmonics, and related audio content)
• Divination tools (tarot readings, I Ching, runes, pendulum divination, numerology, Human Design, Western astrology, Vedic astrology, Chinese astrology/Bazi, and astrocartography)
• Breathwork exercises
• Shadow work guides and tools
• Vision boards
• Mantras and affirmation practice tools
• Ritual creation and tracking
• Energy check-in and mood tracking
• Gamification features
• Personal analytics and progress tracking

6User-Generated Content and Community Guidelines

6.1 Your Content

The Service allows you to post, share, and store content including text, images, and other materials ("User Content"). You retain ownership of your User Content. However, by posting User Content to public or community areas of the Service, you grant Soulbase LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, distribute, and display such content in connection with operating and providing the Service. For private content (such as journal entries, dream logs, and AI conversations), we only access such content as necessary to provide the Service — including sending our AI provider what each AI feature you use needs, and the text of your entries only if you have turned that on — as described in our Privacy Policy.

6.2 Community Standards

You agree not to post or transmit any User Content that:

• Is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or invasive of another's privacy
• Infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, or other proprietary rights of any party
• Contains software viruses or any other code designed to harm or disrupt
• Constitutes spam, advertising, or solicitation without our permission
• Impersonates any person or entity
• Promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous behavior
• Targets, bullies, or harasses any individual or group
• Contains hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics
• Violates any applicable local, state, national, or international law

6.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right, but have no obligation, to monitor, review, and remove User Content at our sole discretion for any reason, including content that we determine violates these Terms or our Community Guidelines. We may suspend or terminate accounts that repeatedly or egregiously violate these Terms. We are not responsible for User Content posted by third parties, and such content does not represent our views.

7Supporter Contributions and Billing

All core features of Soulbase are available to every user at no cost. We offer an optional Supporter subscription ($12.99/month or $120/year, plus tax where applicable) for users who wish to help fund the continued development and availability of the Service while gaining access to additional features. If you choose to become a supporter:

• Voluntary Contribution: The Supporter subscription is entirely optional. All core tools — including journaling, tarot, breathwork, Western astrology, and more — are available to every user at no cost. Free users also receive 10 AI answers a month, shared across the Spirit Guide, tarot, I Ching, runes and the pendulum.
• Supporter Benefits: Supporters receive your shadow work progress over time, the chakra assessment's full reading and how your chakras have changed since your last one, how your tarot moved month to month, your full year in review across every tool, the Spirit Guide's look-back over your year, more AI (22 answers a day instead of 10 a month, across the Spirit Guide, tarot, I Ching, runes and the pendulum), Vedic and Chinese astrology and the three-system comparison, Human Design Gates, binaural beats, harmonics and the frequency library, the full tarot course, advanced numerology, dream interpretation on each dream in your journal, a gold ring around your avatar, and a gold profile badge.
• Automatic Renewal: Supporter subscriptions are billed on a monthly or annual basis and will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
• Cancellation: You may cancel your Supporter subscription at any time through your account settings or the Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation, your Supporter perks will remain active until the end of your current billing period.
• Refund Policy: We offer a 7-day refund for first-time supporters. After the 7-day period, refunds are provided at our sole discretion. To request a refund, contact us at support@soulbase.io.
• Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription amounts. Existing subscribers will be grandfathered at their current pricing. Any changes for new subscribers will be communicated in advance.
• Legacy Subscribers: Users who subscribed under previous pricing tiers (Seedling, Blooming, Giving Tree) will retain their original pricing and receive all current Supporter benefits.

8Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality, is and will remain the exclusive property of Soulbase LLC and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Our trademarks and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

9DMCA Copyright Policy

We respect the intellectual property rights of others. If you believe that any content on the Service infringes your copyright, please send a notice containing the following information to our designated agent at support@soulbase.io:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
• Identification of the material to be removed with sufficient information to locate it
• Your contact information
• A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized
• A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

11Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Soulbase LLC, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) your violation of these Terms; or (d) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property, privacy, or publicity right.

13Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. If you wish to terminate your account, you may do so by contacting us at support@soulbase.io or through the account settings in the Service.

14Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights.

15Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
