One person. Zero outside funding. A simple belief that the tools for inner work should be free and available to everyone.
Soulbase started with a meditation that changed everything.
I was doing heart coherence breathwork — syncing my brain and heart while revisiting some experiences I'd been hard on myself for. Tough memories, old pain. I was going through it, crying like I hadn't in years. I'd done this practice a few times before, but this session was different.
While focusing on my heart, visualizing it to bring my attention there, I saw something I hadn't seen before — a ball of light in front of my heart, and inside it, what looked like an entire universe. I stared at it, still crying uncontrollably, and then I had a thought: go inside it. So I did.
The moment I went in, all the pain disappeared. Instantly. I was curled up inside this light, completely bewildered. I didn't understand what had happened, but I knew — with a certainty I'd never felt before — that this is what we really are. Love. At our purest form. Peace. Acceptance. It was almost like a small version of a near-death experience. Everything I thought I knew about myself and the world shifted in that moment.
I quit my decade-long IT career, sold most of what I owned, and started building. That was over a year ago, and I haven't looked back. I believe the answers are already inside each of us — but it's hard to go within when the world is full of distractions and things that pull us away from ourselves. I think one of the reasons we're here is to remember who and what we really are, even while living in a world that tries to turn us away from it. Soulbase is my attempt to build tools that make that remembering a little easier.
Every feature in Soulbase starts with one question: does this actually serve someone's practice?
There's no product manager optimizing for engagement metrics. No A/B tests designed to increase session time. When I build something, I build it because it's useful — and when it's done, I give it to everyone.
Because there's no committee between an idea and its execution, Soulbase moves on what actually matters — user feedback, genuine need, and the ongoing practice of building something honest. When something needs to change, it changes.
Soulbase has no venture capital, no investors, and no ads. It's funded entirely by the optional generosity of the people who use it.
Every core tool is free. Supporters unlock depth features like Vedic and Chinese astrology, binaural beats, your readings and Shadow Work over time, your full year in review, and more. They also get the chakra assessment’s full reading and dream interpretation on each dream in their journal — plus a badge on their profile.
Everyone — supporter or not — earns XP, builds streaks across all their tools, and unlocks achievements as their practice deepens. It's not a game. It's a reflection of the work you're actually doing.
If Soulbase has helped your practice and you're in a position to give back, that support is what keeps the servers running and new features coming. If you're not in that position, every core tool is yours — freely and without guilt. That's the whole point.
No credit card. No trial period. Every core tool free from day one. Just you, the tools, and the work.
